Rating Criteria

How do I rate Solver(s) and the final deliverable(s)?

Once you received a final deliverable on an Assignment, you can rate the Solver(s) based on the criteria below. The rating you give is then calculated in the overall average of the Solver(s) rating.

Here are the general steps that you can follow to rate the Solver(s)

  1. Log in to your blackbear account
  2. Go to 'My Assignments' page
  3. Click on the assignment card to open an assignment with status 'Delivery'
  4. Click on 'Final Deliverable(s)' tab
  5. In case you have multiple Solver(s) or team(s) working on the assignment separately, you will view multiple teams or Solver(s) tabs. Select the tab with the Solver(s) or team(s) that you'd like to view the deliverable for
  6. If a final deliverable has been submitted by Solver(s) you will view the files and the message from Solver(s)
  7. Review the files received by clicking 'View'
  8. Click 'Rate Deliverable'
  9. View all the rating criteria used to rate the final deliverable
  10. Click 'Start Rating'
  11. Rate each criteria from 1 to 5 starts
  12. You can navigate back and forth through the criteria by clicking 'Next' and 'Previous' buttons
  13. Click ‘Next’ and ‘Previous’ to navigate through steps
  14. Add feedback for the Solver(s) on: ‘What went well?
  15. Add feedback for the Solver(s) on: 'What could have been better?’
  16. Click 'Next'
  17. View a summary of your rating
  18. If happy with the rating, click 'Submit Rating' 
  19. View success message and a final rating provided
  20. You are all set!

To rate the final deliverable(s) and solver(s), we use the following criteria:

1. Completion of deliverable

The degree to which the delivered work is complete and checks all the requirements of the assignment.

Things that might be considered for rating this criteria**:**

  • All requirements are met
  • All relevant data & information is supplied
  • All expected assets or resources are received
  • All requested items are delivered

2. Quality of deliverable

The degree to which the quality of the deliverable meets or exceeds the expectations.

Things that might be considered for rating this criteria**:**

  • Accuracy
  • Consistency
  • Clarity
  • Sufficient details

3. Ease of Use

The degree to which the use and application of the deliverable requires minimum effort, elaboration or additional time spent.

Things that might be considered for rating this criteria**:**

  • Proper format
  • Well documented
  • Accessible
  • Easily applicable
  • Easy to understand

4. Outcome / Result satisfaction

The degree to which the desired outcome or result has been achieved.

Things that might be considered for rating this criteria**:**

  • Scope was met
  • Final goal achieved
  • Results are aligned to expectations

5. Demonstrated best effort

The degree to which the Solver(s) did everything necessary to deliver the work successfully

Things that might be considered for rating this criteria**:**

  • Asked relevant questions
  • Contribute ideas
  • Received & Applied feedback well
  • Went the extra mile

6. Demonstrated professionalism

The degree to which the Solver(s) exercises professionalism in their conduct and skill.

Things that might be considered for rating this criteria**:**

  • Good attitude
  • Ethics
  • Punctuality
  • Polite behaviour
  • Integrity
  • Competence
