Learn how our blind rating system works
How does the rating system work?
How does the rating system work?
The rating you receive for each individual assignment that you complete, gets calculated as an average in your overall rating.
The blind rating system facilitates unbiased and fair rating in our process. It allows you to rate the client once the final deliverable has been submitted without revealing to them the rating they received.
The reviews only show up when both parties submit their feedback. This means that you will only be able to view your rating and feedback if you have rated back. The same applies to business clients. They will be able to view the rating you have given them once they rated you as well.
The rating process:
- A Solver or team of Solvers submits their final deliverable
- The blackbear team accepts the Final deliverable
- The deliverable is then presented to the client, who can rate the the deliverables based on predetermined criteria
- The Solver(s) can rate the client based on the experience they had while working together on the Assignment based on predetermined criteria
- The blackbear team reviews the rating and if all in order, they approve it
- Once the rating process is complete by both parties and accepted the average rating is calculated and displayed to the Solver and Business profile and the feedback provided becomes visible
- Both parties therefore receive feedback without bias, as the raters did not know their rating prior
Blackbear approval on ratings
Note: All ratings need to be approved by blackbear
We take pride in ensuring a fair rating process that benefits both our solvers and clients. However, there are situations where the rating is confusing and makes it difficult for new users to ensure an accurate reflection of the collaboration they had.
To ensure a fair rating and payment and to support our clients provide constructive and relevant feedback, all ratings are reviewed by the blackbear team before being visible on the Solver profile or triggering payment. This measure is in place to intervene and work with clients to correct any unusual ratings before they become public. While rare, in situations where we think the rating needs adjustment, we follow-up with Assignment Owners to get more feedback and see if any corrections are necessary or any additional support.
Blackbear acts as an impartial mediator and facilitator in these situations.
