Solving your first assignment? That’s exciting! But, where do you start and how does it work? Don't worry, we'll help you out!
To solve your assignment, you must first verify your account. This helps Blackbear and our clients ensure that you are who you say you are. Local tax authorities require us to verify your address before we can process a payout. Your verified details will also be used to make NDA signing legal and valid.
What does 'Open for proposals' and 'Closed for Proposals' mean?
When an assignment is open for proposals, it means that the client is still accepting applications, and you can submit your proposal for selection.
When an assignment is closed for proposals, it means that the client has already selected solvers and is no longer accepting proposals.
How much do I earn?
After handing in your final deliverable, it will be evaluated by the company. As a Solver, you will be paid based on your output. The submitted solution will be rated based on a 5-star rating. If you receive all 5 stars as a rating you will receive 100% of the amount to be earned. If you receive 4 stars as a rating you will receive 80% of the amount to be earned and so on. The higher the score on your solution, the higher the amount to be earned.
How do teams work?
You can solve assignments alone or in a (small) team. It is up to you to decide if you want to work on the assignment as a team team or alone.
Please be aware that all the team members need to accept your team invitation before you can hand in your proposal as a team. You can learn more about teams here.
