Learn about blackbear supported countries
Freelancer status
Whether you have freelancer status or not, you can work with blackbear. We don't require invoices and there's no need to declare VAT on blackbear rewards. Solvers can simply report their earnings as 'income from other work' ('inkomsten uit overig werk'). If you do have freelancer status, that's great! But it's not necessary to consider it when working with blackbear.
Important: If you have Freelancer status, it's important to note that we do not currently support freelance invoicing and VAT declarations on assignments.
We are actively working to add support for these features in the future. In the meantime, if you choose to participate in blackbear assignments, please keep in mind that it will not be possible to invoice or declare VAT when working with blackbear.
Supported countries
We're proud to support a thriving network of solvers and freelancers in EU territory.
Regardless of where you are living, you are responsible to comply with any work authorization requirements you may have. Unfortunately, we do not offer universal service to all international locations, and you must be 16 years old (or the age of majority in your country, whichever is older).
Limitations
Important: We no longer support payout in non-EU countries for solvers.
Unfortunately, due to limitations and compliance, we had to close the blackbear platform to certain countries outside the EU. If you are a registered solver and now you have been notified that you can no longer participate in backbear assignments, that means that your country is no longer supported by our payment provider.
Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do at this moment. If you have any further inquiries and require further clarifications, please contact our blackbear team.
We are working hard to try to be available again in your territory and expand to new territories. If you are interested to know when we will be available in your area, please subscribe to our waiting list.
Only individuals residing in EU countries may register for accounts and use our platform.
If you have previously been suspended from our platform, you will not be able to work on it again, and new accounts will be closed.
We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to expand to new territories soon.
