What is an Agreement?

An Agreement non-disclosure agreement is a legally binding contract in which one party enters an agreement with another party.
In the context of blackbear, we use Agreements for signing NDAs or other Contractual Agreement where a party agrees to give a second party confidential information about its business or products and the second party agrees not to share this information with anyone else for a specified period of time. Agreements are also used to protect sensitive information and intellectual property (IP) by outlining in detail what information must remain private and what information can be shared or released to the public or to agree on a delivery of a service.

Agreements are typically signed at the beginning of a business relationship. The information covered by an Agreement can be unlimited, ranging from test results to system specifications to customer lists and sales figures. If the Agreement is broken and information is leaked, it is considered a breach of contract.

Why is an Agreement needed?

Sometimes, before you can view all assignment information, you may be required to sign an Agreement. These assignments are sensitive or have privacy concerns, so we ask that a Contractual Agreement to be signed upfront.

After signing the Agreement, you can submit your proposal. Once selected, you can get started and immediately access all attached resources.
